The signature style of singer, songwriter and living legend Judy Collins radiates from the stage when Pioneer Entertainment (USA) Inc. and Wildflower Records present The Judy Collins Wildflower Festival, arriving as a special edition DVD on July 1. The companion CD of the same name will be in stores on August 12, 2003. Taped earlier this year during Collins current concert tour, this special performance joins Collins with folksinger friends Arlo Guthrie, Tom Rush and Eric Andersen, where each singer shines in their own right and in a collaborative group of folk-singing celebration. Special performances featured on The Judy Collins Wildflower Festival Special Edition DVD include: "Kingdom Come (The Firemans Song)," Collins 9/11 tribute, "Panama Limited" by Rush, "Blue River" by Andersen, "St. James Infirmary" by Guthrie, plus five encore performances. The Judy Collins Wildflower Festival Special Edition DVD is available for a manufacturers suggested retail price of $24.98.

Featuring commentary and interviews with Collins, as well as candid interviews with legendary folk artists Guthrie, Rush and Andersen, the Wildflower Festival Special Edition DVD also includes artists biographies and photo gallery from the Wildflower Festival concert. The Wildflower Festival Special Edition DVD is presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound and Stereo.

For more than 40 illustrious years, Collins dulcet tones have graced the ears of thousands and her poetic lyrics galvanized a generation. Having released more than 40 albums, Collins has had numerous top ten hits, Grammy nominations and gold-and-platinum selling albums.

During the 137-minute concert event, performed earlier this year at Humphreys By The Bay in San Diego, California, Collins and her friends perform 25 songs.
